Building Semantic-UI Local Docs (from Scratch)

There are number of framework twiggling around today. But most of the lack something. May it be responsiveness or components or sometimes even grids (pretty hell then why they made it). There are also some frameworks that are complete and contains wide variety of components reducing the efforts required for designing. Some of them whom I am familier with are Foundation, Bootstrap, Semantic UI (thats what we are here for). Out of these I believe Semantic is a full fledged framework that covers almost every component required to make an awesome website.

But there is an issue again (bloody hell they never leave me). Semantic UI has it's complete documentation online. So whenever you want to add components you need to have an internet connection. This can be problematic. Well then how to resolve this issue?
Eureka! Eureka! I have an idea. I will google search it. See Results. What I got was a topic in their documentation about building local docs that I am unable to understand :(. The Steps provided in Documentation are only for experienced users or those who have worked with node.js.

Don't worry! I have solution. Just follow the steps below to build local documentation :

1. Download node.js installer (32-bit/64-bit) and install it.
2. Now download complete Semantic-UI Git Repository and extract it somewhere (where you generally place your documentations).
3. Open node.js command prompt (you recently installed it) and using MS-DOS commands reach the directory in which you recently extracted Semantic-UI Git files.
4. Now we need to install npm. To do this Type in : npm update and press enter. It takes sometime to install (patience is must).
5. Now Type in : npm install and press enter. This command will complete faster than last one.
6. Next job is to install grunt dependency. Type in :
   npm install -g grunt-cli and press enter.
7. We need two more dependencies. Install them using commands :
   npm install -g docpad@6.64
   npm install -g karma
8. Building the docs using grunt. Type in :
   grunt build
9. A Step away from using. You need to perform this step everytime you want to use documentation. Type in : docpad run
10. Don't close command prompt. Test your local documentation by typing in your browser address bar :http://localhost:9778

Voila! You just built a local documentation. This documentation is hosted until you close command prompt or press Ctrl-C in command prompt.
Out of 10 Steps mentioned above first 8 steps except Step 3 are need to be performed only once in a lifetime :D.
Step 3, Step 9 and Step 10 is to be performed every time you want to start documentation.

P.S.: The address mentioned in Step 10 may sometimes vary. The address on which server has started is shown in command prompt. Just verify it. Enjoy!

How to unblock everything on Internet (Specially for College Students)

College students generally depend upon their college Wi-Fi for Internet access but most of them face same problem i.e. limited access to Internet (as I do). So I decided to post about different ways to unblock everything.

Now you may think that it is a quite risky and confusing task then you are very much wrong thinker. It's quite simple, easy and riskless. I don't understand why college authority do so. Why they don't understand that this is the real age of students to explore internet and invent something new ?

Well let's stop all this non sense and start the main work.

Before I tell you how to use proxies I must tell you a what a proxy actually is. So Proxy is quite similar to man in the middle. I will give you a layman example.

Suppose you are in classroom and your teacher allows you to bring anything from outside but no some specific things. But you are in need. So you ask a friend of yours in class to bring it hidding from the teacher. He brings that thing and you use it.

Here Classroom is ur College WiFi. Your teacher is WiFi gateway like 'Cyberoam'. 'Outside' represents the Internet. Your friend is proxy server. I think you got what I meant to say.

Now the real work actually begins :

Without Proxifier :

Proxy settings modification is available now-a-days in almost every internet application. You have to open the application on which you want to use proxy, say Google Chrome. Open its settings/prefrences area and search for proxy settings. Once you have found it, remaining work is mostly online.

Now you have to look for a website which provides you updated proxy servers list. Don't know where to go??

If ever stuck in such type of problems just 'google it'. Oops! Even searched proxy websites are blocked. Don't worry I can suggest you some :

Spys.ru, ip-adress.com

Above two sites have quite rare chances that they are blocked.

If these are blocked you can re-search all above on google via Opera Browser. Actually Opera runs on its transparent proxy server so it can open blocked sites.

Now you have your proxy list in syntax :

IP:port

Just put these in proxy settings of your app and enjoy unblocked internet. :)

With Proxifier :
Proxifier is a software used to run all internet softwares via proxy server. In other words, 'without any restriction'.

You can download proxifier trial version from it's official website.

But it may be also be blocked by your college authority. So you have to download it from any other website, like Brothersoft, CNET, etc.

Now install it. After finishing installation, it's time to configure it.

Open Proxifier and go to Tools —»Advanced preferences and select http proxy servers. Enable it.

Now open Tools—»Proxy Servers—» Add. Now add IP:Port from the proxy list, that you gathered from proxy list websites, and select HTTP Proxy. To verify whether proxy is working, use proxy checker. If it passes the test, it means proxy works. After passing proxy server latency is checked, if  it is more than 500 ms, I suggest you to try any other proxy because it is very slow proxy. Once you found one such, just apply it. You are done!!

Everything is available to you without any restrictions. ;)

Using special browsers :

Opera Web Browser :
If you are interested only in unblocked internet surfing you can use Opera Web Browser. The reason that the unblocked sites run on opera is that all data comes via opera servers (in compressed form) which act as proxy server leading to No restrictions. :)

You can download Opera web browser from Opera.com.

Tor Browser :
If you are interested in surfing + light downloading, I suggest you to use Tor Browser. It is a browser specially made to run on proxies that it acquires from it's special servers automatically. But it is slow in speed. That's why it is preferred not to go for Tor for downloading large sized files.

You can download Tor Browser from torproject.org. If it is blocked download it from any other software downloading website.

Just run Tor and surf any website or download anything without any restriction.

Now finally when you have reached the destination site (obviously the cheapest if you aren't a chuddu), there's more you can get ;) i.e. the coupon codes.

Ohk! I have told you about that earlier and they were not available at Freekaamaal. Now, What to do ?

Actually Freekaamaal not only shows you great offers but also it contains a section of coupon codes, where you type in the site name and get coupon codes available for that particular site.
